The aim of Kazbaah is to help charitable associations to raise funds for worthy projects using online auctions. By donating goods or services, businesses have the opportunity to receive extensive publicity for minimal outlay, whilst providing invaluable help to worthy causes. Kasbaah is managed by Ian Knox, a lecturer in eBusiness at the University of Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. Ian has been trading online as OZRURAL.COM for 8 years, and has extensive experience in managing online auctions, trading on eBay since December 2000 under the user name of OZRURAL since 2000.
Many charitable organisations are staffed entirely by volunteers, so it is not always viable to organise large fundraising events without major burnout of helpers.
